Zammis Schein worked in Afghanistan over the past 9 years as an escort interpreter, an English teacher and a field interpreter trainer on several assignments.
He implemented his own tailor-made teaching methodology for native speakers of Dari and Pashto. He taught a women empowerment course in scenic Pul-e Khumri, Baghlan Province, Afghanistan.
He fell in love with the country. He was enchanted by the peoples, the languages, the rich culture and the colorful history of Afghanistan.
He is married and has two grown up children. He is the proud owner of two native Afghani Tazi dogs.
Currently, his primary objective is to maintain the intergalactic speed and the massive momentum of all his seemingly futile efforts to secure funding for the establishment and the long-term operation of a school for blind children in Afghanistan. Against all odds, graduates from his ill-fated girls’ school could build a meaningful career for themselves there.visualizza meno
