At Weill Cornell Medical College, he teaches medical students in the "Medicine, Patients, and Society" curriculum and is a member of the Institutional Review Board, Committee on Human Rights in Research. At Weill Cornell he is an active participant in the Richardson History of Psychiatry Research Seminar and its Working Group on Psychoanalysis and the Arts. He is a lecturer in the Program in Psychiatry and Religion at Union Theological Seminary and a contributor to the Encyclopedia of Psychology and Religion.
