He was born in 1944 in Pancevo. He completed the Technical School "Nikola Tesla", an electrical department in Pančevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in 1968 and graduated in 1973 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. He defended his doctoral dissertation from Information Technology-Cybernetics in 1977 at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade.
He started his university career as an assistant in 1969 and was elected to all teaching professions, and a full professor of sciences in the field of information technology was elected in 1984. Prof. Dr. Đorđe Nadrljanski, PhD, has a rich scientific and professional opus with over 400 bibliographic units, author of 70 books (monographs, university and secondary school textbooks and manuals), over 150 scientific papers and 170 professional papers (articles and projects) in the fields of information technology, cybernetics, methodology scientific-research work, operational research, system theory and information technology in education. He is a participant in numerous scientific and expert gatherings and specializations at home and abroad. He led and participated in the Defense Commissions of 22 doctoral dissertations, 45 master theses and 15 specialized works. He lectured at the faculties of the University of Novi Sad, Belgrade, Rijeka, Split and Zagreb as a guest professor in the regular and postgraduate studies of subjects in the field of computer science (computer science, computer programming, system theory, cybernetics, operational research, information technology in education, computer science, information technology, design of educational computer software, media in education, media systems, cybernetics in education, methodology of scientific research and information systems). He has participated in the work of numerous scientific and professional bodies and organs.
