Not your stereotypical southern belle you read about in trashy romance novels, but I’m fairly typical, and a typical southern woman is just about like any typical woman from anywhere. There are a few things I’ve done that many women might not have done. I’ve driven a tractor, I’ve picked cotton (in an air-conditioned cab mind you, not by hand), I’ve chewed tobacco, and threw up afterwards, I can shoot a shotgun, in the 90s at skeet, 80s at trap, I can shoot a rifle, but I don’t, and I can shoot a pistol, but I don’t have one. My daddy taught me all that stuff, except the chewing tobacco part, that was my ex husband, when we were dating.I grew up on a large farm in a county just outside Savannah. It was owned by my Daddy and my Uncle. After I graduated from high school, I went to the local community college for a year, until I figured out that was just High School II, and I went off to UGA. Got my degree there, then went to Atlanta and got another degree.visualizza meno
