She is the founder of No Small Victories and has been actively promoting her No Small Victories Autism Awareness Initiative for over six years in efforts to bring about community awareness and education, social inclusion and the promotion of stronger parental advocacy. Her target population includes but is not limited to minority males diagnosed with autism who are living in socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.
Mrs. Williams-Hines believes that understanding the diagnosis from a culturally sensitive viewpoint will help in closing the diagnostic disparity gap between minority males and their counterparts, as well as assist parents in aggressively advocating for their children in efforts to realize more positive outcomes. Published author of now four children’s books, Mrs. Williams-Hines recently received her Bachelors of Science in Human Services and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education-Autism/Applied Behavior Analysis.visualizza meno
