Curt was reared in a neighborhood where most of my peers were poor. His family never went hungry or lacked any necessities. His parents were very good parents, and provided a great home. In 1979 he fell in love with my wife Christine and we began a family at a very young age. He had always been a creative and caring individual who loves with all of my heart. He joined the U.S. Army and his first duty station was in Germany. Christine and their first child Catrecia joined him in Europe. In 1988, at 25-years-old he was stabbed in the lower left quadrant of his abdomen. A 3ft. Section of small intestine protruded the site of the wound. There were no hospitals in the area of Grafenwoehr, Germany where they were stationed. He was medically evacuated to Nurnberg where doctors were unsuccessful in repairing the damage to his small bowels. Christine gave birth to Selena, the 2nd daughter, at the same time of his first week of hospitalization. He was then flown to Walter Reed Army medical Center in our nation's capital, Washington D.C. He was visited by a stranger one morning and the peculiar gentleman gave him a Holy Bible. The Doctors were unable to repair the small intestine and he was too weak for another operation. He could not eat, drink, or have a bowel movement, due to this injury. After 6 months of reading the bible, God healed me miraculously without an operation, to the amazement of the specialists assigned to my care. His family and was then assigned to Fort Bragg in N.C. In 1990 their 3rd daughter Chloe was born. The same year he was deployed to the Persian Gulf conflict and fought In Operation Desert Storm. He was awarded the Bronze Star, and the Liberation of Kuwait medals for meritorious service. In 1993 he left the military and moved back to the Miami area. In 1994 Curt Jr. was born. Curt Senior began demonstrating behavior consistent with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, due to severe Combat stress. He was the senior pastor of The Holy Trinity House of prayer from 2000 - 2002. While struggling with an undiagnosed PTSD ailment, he became alcohol dependent, and a convicted felon. God has caused him to use his life as a canvas. The mixture of colors of his life served as the womb from which these tales of wisdom and spiritual bliss are born. The prayer is that you enjoy them as much as he has.visualizza meno
