Upon returning home, he became a master carpenter, a husband and the father of two daughters. After earning both his B.A. and M.A. in English, he began a new career teaching high school English in Texas. In 2006, he returned to Asia traveling through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and China.
Throughout all this time he was, first and foremost, a writer, completing four fiction novels. His most recent novel, Pity for the Crow is a tale of magical realism, weaving together 500 years of Texas, Mexico and Central America history into an engaging modern day conquistador adventure. He is now writing his first non-fiction work, a retrospective on his life and travels.visualizza meno
