The Naughty Librarian worked in the public library sector for over thirty years. She developed an interest for writing in the midst of her library career. She started out with writing two children'...visualizza altroThe Naughty Librarian worked in the public library sector for over thirty years. She developed an interest for writing in the midst of her library career. She started out with writing two children's picture books, for which she received second prize in a local literary children's fiction contest. She put pen to paper years later, and came up with a short story, which was published in a collection of new Canadian short stories. Since she had many years’ experience in the public library , she decided to write something she knew about, and that was the crazy shenanigans happening on a day to day basis in the library, along with her undaunting task of finding a good date on the personals.
Born and bred in Scotland, she attended teachers' training college, and later started off her library career at the Edinburgh College of Art. The Naughty Librarian immigrated to Canada where she now lives and enjoys retirement.visualizza meno
