This was then followed by a year of meditation in the monasteries of Thailand. In 2005 he completed a one year solitary retreat.
He has been teaching Buddhism for the past thirty years beginning in 1987 at Buddha House, South Australia, where he also served as the Tibetan interpreter. In 1997 Jampa was appointed teaching assistant in the seven-year Masters Program of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition at Tsongkapa Institute, Italy. Jampa now lives in Sydney, Australia where he teaches in both the Tibetan and Insight Buddhist traditions.visualizza meno
