Dr. Banerji received his doctorate in Physics from Calcutta University, India, in 1956. He joined the Case Institute of Technology as an assistant Professor in 1961and was promoted to Professor in 1968. He moved to the east coast in 1973 and retired from Saint Josephs University in Philadelphia as Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science in 1992.
Dr. Banerji has authored two books and edited three others, in the field of Computer Science. He is a Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence. He has published about ninety technical papers on Ionospheric Physics and various branches of Computer Science.
As invited Visiting Professor Dr. Banerji has taught at the University of Paris, Calcutta University, the University of Vienna, the Vienna Technical University and the Technical University of Prague.
Since his retirement one of his major interests has been the connection between science and the basis of various religions.visualizza meno
