Until then he'd had the extreme fortune to have worked on 6 out of 7 continents on our spinning little mud ball. Known especially for his knowledge and skills of Jazz and Tap dancing, he was traveling to Cape Town to finish a workshop he was teaching with his former student and good friend Yuval Beck when a driver going in the wrong direction almost ended his life. After enduring 4 days in a coma Alan had to spend 3 weeks in the hospital until it was decided he was well enough for his parents to bring him back to the USA. After almost a year of living back with his parents while relearning how to walk, talk, and generally take care of himself, he was finally given the OK to return to NY and attempt to reclaim his former life. You can read a much more detailed version of about his journey in One of Them which he's hoping to finish later this year.visualizza meno
