Deconstructing Tara is not her first novel, only the first one completed. A second novel, The Lives and Death of Taya Duchamp (part of a trilogy) is finished, and she currently is at work on a series of mysteries, the first one being When Lilacs Last Bloomed on the Lake. She’s had a number of articles, short stories, and a book review published; has presented papers at numerous academic conferences; and writes something every day.
