O. K.) from Ijebu-Ijesa in Oriade, the local government area of Osun State, Mr Christopher Olu Komolafe had his elementary and secondary school education at Ijebu-Ijesa, after which he proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, where he studied marketing. He taught for two years in Ondo State and later join the establishment of Union Bank of Nigeria, where he worked for twenty-five years.
Before his voluntary retirement, he developed himself to acquire an HND in banking and finance, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti, now Ekiti State University (EKSU).
He also has the following professional qualifications:
• Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMN)
• Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).
Mr Komolafe is presently undergoing an LLB law programme at the National Open University of Nigeria.
He has attended several professional management courses, both internal and external while he was in service with Union Bank, and took to business after retirement.

He is happily married to his lovely wife, Esther, and is blessed with children.
