She went on to receive an Associate of Arts Degree from Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri, a Business Degree from Indiana University School of Business, and two Master of Education Degrees. She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority, and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church where she attended regularly.
After a career in teaching, Jean volunteered at the Midwest Museum of American Art in Elkhart, Indiana, giving tours to school children and making friends with whom she traveled all over the world.
Her balance, coordination and posture were the result of dance training and enabled her to walk without any assistive devices, ever. Hardships, obstacles and challenges in her life provided the skills and determination to live in and maintain her own home, in Carmel, Indiana where she cared for her precious English Cream retriever, Honey.visualizza meno
