With scholarship aid, he graduated from Cornell University and then its medical college in 1951. Internal Medical and neurology training were at Bellevue Hospital, but these were interrupted by the Korean War where he became commanding officer of a medical detachment. On discharge, he was awarded the Bronze Star and several other citations. Back in civilian life, he was the first neurologist to practice in Delaware; published 87 scientific papers and became a full professor at Jefferson University Hospital in 1975.visualizza meno
