But as is the case for many, it was a matter of finding what kind of brush I needed to use in order to complete my masterpiece. But once I placed my fingers on the keyboard with a mind-set on turning my story into words on a page, I knew I had finally discovered my canvas of choice. As the years passed, as I worked to hone my skills in the art of telling a story, it was the questions that come along with being a parent of two wonderful children that started me on this wonderful journey. What challenges and choices lay ahead for my children? How would they handle them? Had my wife and I given them what they needed to be able to get through those tough times that come with age? As I considered those questions, the passing of my own grandmother, Josephine, left me with a different set of questions to consider. The answer came in the story of Josie. Having spent my entire life in Western Massachusetts, I have been lucky enough to learn to enjoy the change of the seasons and have also been fortunate enough to discover my three passions in life: my family, coaching youth athletics, and writing. With each of those passions, I have the chance to convey one very important message: spend time enjoying what you have rather than regretting what you do not.visualizza meno
