Could this be possible, and was it akin to some of the incredible experiences of altered reality as a kid? Within a few short years of regular meditation and attending weekend retreats, I found myself in a curious position. A barrage of eyes closed blissful mystical experiences where the Holy Tradition of Masters, and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi often visited me. I decided to drop university studies to become a TM teacher in 1973.
In 1976, special courses for TM teachers called the Age of Enlightenment Governors Training were instructed in the TMSidhi program. Techniques parallel to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. I recognized during the course what Maharishi meant by integration and wholeness of consciousness. It was also the first time I had abiding experiences of Unity Consciousness.
Soon after, in 1977, while teaching TM and involved with other projects for the TM organization, I met the love of my life and was married with children in no time. I became a householder and decided to build a secure family and career.
